Composite Regional Centre For Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons With Disabilities(CRC-Kozhikode) is a service modality set under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India with the aim of creating resources and infrastructure required for developing services for persons with disabilities in the state of Kerala. There are national institutes and other apex bodies in each area of disability in different parts of India under the same Ministry.
CRC Kozhikode is functioning under the administrative control of National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD[D]), Chennai. Apart from undertaking centre-based and camp-based rehabilitation related activities, it also functions as resource centre for persons with disabilities.

Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE):
Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) is conducted to upgrade the knowledge and skills of Rehabilitation professionals working in the Disability sector. These programmes are approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with credit points. CRC-Kozhikode is conducting CRE Programmes as per the schedule and guidelines laid down by NIEPMD in different parts of the state.
